What a wonderful idea--to have an Adult Formation blog/web site! I have missed two Sundays--one due to travel and one due to illness--and this allows me to catch up. I hope that others will use the site to comment so that we can learn from one another.

I am a newcommer to St. Aidan's. In my earlier years I attended and was in the choir in the Baltimore area in a parish of a similiar sounding name of St. Alban's like the name of the National Cathedral in D.C. I am slowly but very surely conquering the hills of my neighborhood's streets and will soon be pleased to make St. Aidan my home parish. I felt a genuine friendly feeling from the congregation when I attended. I have read the lesson on glutteny and as I struggle to keep my recent weight loss off and proceed to reach a much lower weight that lesson really taught me a lot. I am not only important to God, but my health, well being and happiness are important to my large family and friends of which I have a large network.
